ICSI
ICSI is a variation of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and is defined as the selection of the best sperm which are injected into each egg.
Embryos resulting from the fertilization are placed into the patient’s uterus.
This technique is used when:
- Low sperm count.
- Azozpermia (when there’s no sperm and needed vacuuming epididymal or testicular extract by biopsy).
- When there are severe abnormalities of sperm.
